BOCCHI Elena

PhD en marketing

Elena est Professeur Assistant à NEOMA Business School. Elle a obtenu son doctorat à la Bayes Business School (Londres) et, avant sa thèse, a suivi une formation prédoctorale en recherche à l'Université Bocconi (Milan).

Elle étudie le comportement et la prise de décision des consommateurs, en se concentrant particulièrement sur les formes excessives de consommation, qu’elle analyse selon trois axes : la psychologie du consommateur (les déterminants psychologiques de la surconsommation), la durabilité (les implications environnementales des comportements gaspilleurs) et le branding (comment les éléments de l’identité de marque peuvent intensifier ou au contraire limiter la surconsommation).

La recherche d’Elena a été publiée dans Behavior Research Methods et présentée à toutes les grandes conférences de marketing (par exemple, Association for Consumer Research, Society for Consumer Psychology, Society for Judgment and Decision-Making, American Marketing Association, European Marketing Academy). Ses travaux ont remporté le prix commémoratif Jane Beattie (Society for Judgment and Decision-Making 2023), le prix du meilleur article (Northern European Consumer Research Symposium 2023), le prix de la meilleure présentation (Mediterranean Consumer Behavior Symposium 2023) et des subventions de recherche concurrentielles dans les universitéset des organismes de financement.
