Comment l’Intelligence artificielle (IA) et le data science (DS, Science des données) transforment-elles la manière dont les entreprises exercent leur activité ?

Dans notre ère numérique, ce sont les données qui changent véritablement la donne, et les leaders du marché les ont adoptées grâce aux innovations ultramodernes de l’analyse commerciale.

Ce Pôle vise à comprendre comment utiliser les données pour interagir avec les clients, améliorer les processus opérationnels, concevoir de meilleurs produits, gérer différents risques et résoudre les innombrables problèmes pernicieux de la société. Ce Pôle propose de faire progresser la recherche sur différents aspects de l’IA et de la DS qui vont singulièrement contribuer à améliorer le bien-être des individus, des organisations et de la société.

Pour Indranil Bose, qui en est le directeur, « le Pôle IA, data science et Entreprises promeut une recherche collaborative entre les collègues qui souhaitent étudier les utilisations innovantes de l’IA et de la DS dans une variété de champs d’application liés à l’entreprise. Notre priorité est de comprendre les technologies transformatrices, en évaluant leur impact sur les entreprises et les consommateurs, et en surmontant les enjeux actuels et à venir par des solutions intelligentes. Nous réalisons des recherches décisives à l’aide de techniques tant quantitatives que qualitatives. Nous organisons des séminaires, des ateliers, des entretiens sectoriels et des groupes de discussion afin de soutenir notre effort de recherche. »

Chaires, partenaires et projets financés

Le Pôle comprend deux projets de recherche financés en externe :

  • AdoptBlockChain (Région Grand Est), dont l’objectif est d’étudier l’adoption de la technologie blockchain et son impact dans le contexte de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
  • L’adoption de l’IA par les entreprises de Reims (Grand Reims). Son objectif est d’évaluer l’utilisation des technologies d’IA par les entrepreneurs et les agriculteurs locaux afin de comprendre les résistances et évaluer l’impact sur les entreprises de son adoption.

Le Pôle intègre aussi l’Institut SPOC. Créé en 2015 avec une orientation de recherche appliquée, l’objectif de l’Institut SPoC est d’améliorer l’adoption ainsi que les conséquences sociales et commerciales du développement de la robotique.
