GORBATAI Andreea

Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior / Sociology

Andreea Gorbatai est Professeure Associée au sein du Département Stratégie & Entrepreneuriat de NEOMA Business School. Elle est titulaire d'un master en Sociologie de l'Université Harvard et d'un Ph.D. en Comportement Organisationnel de Harvard Business School. Avant de rejoindre NEOMA, elle a occupé des postes à temps plein à l'Université de Californie à Berkeley, au sein de la Haas School of Business, ainsi qu'à la Vlerick Business School, en Belgique.

Ses recherches examinent la manière dont les systèmes technologiques — tels que les plateformes numériques, les environnements de travail à haute technologie et les communautés de makers — façonnent le comportement organisationnel, l'accès aux opportunités et la mobilité socio-économique. En combinant des méthodes expérimentales, computationnelles et qualitatives, elle étudie comment l'identité, les biais sociaux et les dynamiques institutionnelles influencent les processus d'évaluation, les résultats entrepreneuriaux ainsi que la participation à de nouvelles formes d'organisation du travail et des échanges économiques. Plus largement, ses travaux mettent en lumière la façon dont des technologies en apparence neutres reproduisent activement ou reconfigurent les inégalités, dans l'objectif d'éclairer des pratiques organisationnelles plus inclusives et responsables.

Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues de premier plan en management et en sociologie, telles qu'Organization Science, Organisation Studies, American Journal of Sociology et la Harvard Business Review. Elle est membre de l'Academy of Management et de l'European Group for Organisation Studies. Elle possède également une expérience en formation des cadres auprès d'audiences internationales de haut niveau en Europe et en Amérique du Nord, ainsi qu'une expérience de consulting en management et de consulting économique sur des projets liés à la stratégie, aux fusions-acquisitions, au droit de la concurrence et à la propriété intellectuelle.
