DIEGO CASTILLO Jesus

Jesús Diego Castillo est professeur assistant en Supply Chain Management à NEOMA Business School. Il est titulaire d'un doctorat (Ph.D.) en Business and Finance, spécialité Operations Management, de l'Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, d'un master recherche en Business and Finance et d'un diplôme d'ingénieur en génie industriel. Pendant son doctorat, il a été chercheur invité au département Operations Management de la Copenhagen Business School. Il est membre du Complex Adaptive Supply Networks Research Accelerator (CASN). Ses recherches empiriques portent sur les réseaux d'approvisionnement, autour de thèmes tels que l'encastrement cognitif, la résilience socio-écologique, la durabilité et la gestion des risques. Il applique des méthodes quantitatives pour étudier les résultats financiers et non financiers dans les réseaux d'approvisionnement. Ses travaux sur la transparence des fournisseurs nexus et l'exposition des acheteurs au risque ESG ont été publiés dans l'International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM). Son travail en cours, intitulé « Cognitive and Structural Embeddedness of the Supply Base: Effects on Buyer Profitability », a obtenu le prix 2022 du meilleur article en supply chain (Best Supply Chain Paper Award) de l'Institute for Supply Management (ISM) lors de la conférence annuelle de l'Academy of Management, à Seattle, aux États-Unis. Jesús enseigne notamment les cours Sustainable Supply Chain, Procurement et Green Mobility au sein du MSc in Sustainable Transformation. Il est actuellement membre du comité de lecture (Editorial Review Board) du Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) et de l'International Journal of Operations and Production Management. Il a également été évaluateur ad hoc pour le Journal of Business Logistics et le Journal of Operations Management. Jesús a participé à des projets industriels portant sur la traçabilité et la cartographie des chaînes d'approvisionnement.
