Shota est Professeur Assistant au sein du département Hommes et Organisations à NEOMA Business School. Il a obtenu son Ph.D. à Nanyang Business School. Ses intérêts de recherche comprennent la culture organisationnelle, la motivation et le bien-être des employés et la psychologie interculturelle. Il applique les théories psychologiques de la perception, des émotions et de la cognition pour comprendre comment les mêmes événements et expériences dans le milieu du travail peuvent influencer différemment la motivation et le bien-être des personnes, selon les caractéristiques individuelles, situationnelles et culturelles. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Applied Social Psychology et Social and Personality Psychology Compass. Il a également présenté ses articles dans des conférences internationales de gestion, telles que les réunions annuelles de l’Academy of Management et Berkeley Culture Connect Conference.
