Alessio Ishizaka est Responsable du département Systèmes d'Information, Supply Chain Management et Aide à la Décision et professeur titulaire en analyse décisionnelle. Il a été responsable de la recherche et directeur adjoint du Centre de recherche opérationnelle et de logistique de l'University of Portsmouth (Royaume-Uni). Il a obtenu son doctorat à l'Université de Bâle (Suisse). Alessio a travaillé successivement pour l'University of Exeter (Royaume-Uni), l'University of York (Royaume-Uni) et Audencia Grande Ecole de Management, Nantes (France). Il a été professeur invité dans plusieurs universités en Italie, en France et en Allemagne. Ses recherches portent sur le domaine de l'analyse de la décision, où il a publié plus de 90 articles. Il est régulièrement impliqué dans de grands projets financés par l'Europe. Il a été président, co-organisateur et conférencier invité de plusieurs conférences sur ce sujet. Pr. Ishizaka est auteur du manuel "Analyse de décision multicritère : méthodes et logiciels".
