Philippe De LOMBAERDE est professeur associé d'Economie internationale à NEOMA BS, département de stratégie, campus de Rouen.

Avant de rejoindre NEOMA BS, M. De Lombaerde (PhD, RWTH) était entre autres Directeur associé du United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) à Bruges, et professeur associé d'Economie internationale à l'Université Nationale de Colombie, Bogota.

Les recherches de Philippe ont été publiées dans de nombreuses revues académiques telles que Journal of Common Market Studies, Review of International Studies, Globalizations, Global Economic Review, Asian Economic Papers, Singapore Economic Review, International Journal of Manpower, Politics & Policy, et le Journal of Policy Modeling. Il a également publié plusieurs ouvrages, dont les quatre volumes de « Regionalism » (Londres : Sage, 2013) et intervient en tant qu'éditeur du Springer/UNU Series on Regionalism.

Il a donné des conférences dans plusieurs pays, dont la Colombie, l'Equateur, la Thaïlande, le Cap Vert, l'Allemagne, les Pays-Bas et la Belgique.
