Il est titulaire d’un Master en statistiques et d’un doctorat en économie des affaires de la KU Leuven, en Belgique. Les recherches de Hamed se concentrent sur l’optimisation par simulation, en particulier l’utilisation d’algorithmes basés sur le Krigeage, sur des problématiques à l’intersection du marketing et de la gestion des opérations, ainsi que sur l’analyse des pratiques durables dans les chaînes d’approvisionnement à travers des modèles de théorie des jeux. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues de premier plan, notamment *IIE Transactions*, *European Journal of Operational Research* et *International Journal of Production Economics*. Il agit en tant que relecteur ad hoc pour plusieurs revues prestigieuses, telles que l’*International Journal of Production Economics* et l’*European Journal of Operational Research*. Au fil des années, Hamed a reçu de nombreux prix pour la qualité de son enseignement à NEOMA Business School.
