Kleinaltenkamp est Professeur assistant en stratégie et entrepreneuriat à la NEOMA Business School. Ses recherches portent sur les processus conjoints de changement technologique, organisationnel et sociétal, avec un accent particulier sur les technologies émergentes, les visions futures et la transformation des domaines organisationnels. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans Industrial Marketing Management, entre autres, ont été nominés pour le prix AOM Louis Pondy de la meilleure thèse (2023) et ont été finalistes pour le prix AOM OMT de la meilleure publication (2021).
