Laura Ruiz Santiago est titulaire d'un doctorat en gestion avec une concentration sur les SIG de l'École de commerce de Rennes, en France, et de l'Université de Grenade, en Espagne. Ses recherches portent sur la valeur commerciale des technologies de l'information, et notamment sur la manière dont les entreprises conçoivent et mettent en œuvre des initiatives de transformation du lieu de travail axées sur les technologies de l'information afin d'améliorer leurs performances. Ses recherches ont été publiées dans Decision Support Systems, Information & Management et Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Laura fait actuellement office de réviseur ad hoc pour plusieurs revues de SI, telles que Information & Management et European Journal of Information Systems, et a également travaillé pour des conférences de SI en tant que réviseur et rédacteur associé.
