    The Future of Work

    Objectifs

    Comment vont évoluer le travail et les organisations dans la prochaine décennie ?

    La transformation numérique, un passage vers un travail plus démographique et constructif : l’environnement socio-technologique des organisations évolue fortement. Dans ce Pôle, la recherche analyse ces changements et la manière dont ils vont bouleverser le travail et les organisations, et faciliter les efforts des managers qui s’emploient à façonner les organisations du futur.

     

    « Nous considérons que ce Pôle est un espace de soutien visant à développer des relations de recherche fortes et qui ont du sens. Les ateliers, les groupes de lecture, les événements et les projets de recherche collectifs fourniront à nos membres des opportunités de se connecter autour d’intérêts de recherche communs et interdisciplinaires. Nous avons aussi l’ambition de soutenir la diffusion de science ouverte au sein de notre communauté », assurent Birgit Schyns, Shiva Taghavi, Julien Jacqmin et Jean-Baptiste Suquet, coordinateurs du Pôle.

    • Conference - Wednesday, 19 June 2024, Paris Campus: The Current and Future Challenges of Indicators in Higher Education. Christine Musselin (Sciences Po Paris) will deliver the keynote address followed by 6 presentations of academic papers. The day will end with a round table (in French) at 4:30 pm about "the future of indicators: between sovereignty and sustainability" with Frédérique Vidal (EFMD/former French Minister of Higher Education), Jérome Caby (DG of FNEGE), Bernard Ramanantsoa (former dean of HEC) and Aurélien Acquier (professor at ESCP Business school).

    Leur article « Knocking sovereign customers off their pedestals? When contact staff educate, amateurize, and penalize deviant customers », a été publié dans Human Relations. Un résumé de leur recherche est disponible dans la Harvard Business Review (édition française)

     

    Participation de Jean-Baptiste SUQUET à un débat avec des professionnels de la gestion des clients ayant des comportements déviants.

    L’objectif de ce webinaire était de présenter les résultats de l’étude menée en collaboration avec Aurélien ROUQUET, en partenariat avec l’AMARC (Association pour le Management de la Réclamation Client), qui a récemment été récompensée par Syntec Conseil et la Fondation nationale pour l’enseignement de la gestion des entreprises (FNEGE).

     

    Chaires, partenaires et projets financés

    Le domaine comprend deux projets de recherche financés en externe : Vista-AR (Interreg, UE), dont l’objectif est d’analyser l’impact de la réalité augmentée sur les sites patrimoniaux, et la Transformation du commerce de détail après la COVID (Grand Reims), dont l’objectif est d’anticiper les mutations du secteur après la pandémie.

    Gérer les comportements de leadership toxiques

    L’article de Birgit SCHYNS, « Shady Strategic Behavior: Recognizing Strategic Followership of Dark Triad Followers », co-écrit avec Barbara WISSE (University of Groningen et Durham University Business School) et Stacey SANDERS (University of Groningen), publié en juin 2019 dans Academy of Management Perspectives, a été réédité dans Academy of Management Insight, un magazine en ligne consacré aux managers et aux chefs d’entreprise, et dans plusieurs autres médias (par ex., theHRDIRECTOR, companiesdigest.com, workplaceinsight.net, employer news et Management today)

    Comment réveiller les leaders dormants

    En se basant sur son article « Does thinking of myself as leader make me want to lead? The role of congruence in self-theories and implicit leadership theories in motivation to lead », coécrit avec Tina Kiefer (Warwick University) et Roseanne Foti (Virginia Tech) dans le Journal of Vocational Behavior, Birgit Schyns propose cinq actions pour identifier, réveiller et faire progresser les leaders en sommeil au sein des organisations.
